Released in 2015, this vintage refers to Lieutenant - General Jean - Charles de Baas - Castelmore, the first governor general of the French West Indies and one of Louis XIV 's musketeers, and also the first occupant in 1674 of the Fond - Capot dwelling where the house "Madkaud" was subsequently founded in 1895.
Rum with a beautiful copper color, aged for 4 to 5 years in oak barrels. The balanced scents of roasted coffee and mocha are enhanced by beautiful spicy and woody notes. The aromas developed in a beautiful lemony vegetable freshness evoke the nougatine, the spices, the fruits cooked with a refined woody.
